    A new belt for the treadle run about $8 so you wouldn't even have to spend $35 to get it running. I hope you get it but have to be fast for those FREE offers.

    That cabinet is beautiful!!! So is the machine, working or not. I'm far from Maine, however. Thanks for sharing.

    This machine would be a good candidate to attach a handcrank--no electricity needed...it is so much fun to use and it is great for teaching young children to sew.
