    First let me say...I am sorry poor Petie is hurt...don't like to see anything in pain.

    Second, I gotta tell you....that is the funniest thing I have ever seen. I have never seen a bird in a cast before.

    Glad he was able to adapt, sounds like he is pretty pampered and obviously well taken care of.

    So sorry to hear of Petey's accident. I keep my birds' wings clipped. I am so afraid one could fly out of a door and be gone when people (grandchildren) visit and do not keep doors closed. And I am just plain afraid they could get hurt flying around the house. Take care.

    oh so sweet. he's doing great.
    i had a cat with arthritis so bad his wrist bend sideways and the vet put a soft cast on him for about a month. it helped his leg a lot.
