Or, since there have been two sources cited for the pattern, maybe you could just look for one of them and purchase the pattern, or check with your local library to see if they have, or can order the binder from Oxmoor house mentioned above. Not trying to be snarky here, but sometimes regardless of how many questions/answers/suggestions we get on this board, most of still will need more explicit directions that we can refer to when making a larger quilt using an unfamiliar block pattern(s).

This garden twist pattern is free and was posted in your other thread by Ischo4jm.

Looks to me like you could do it with a snowball block and some hsts. Get out your graph paper and see if you can work it out on paper. Good luck.

Many thanks to those who posted the free pattern links. I have saved them in my future project file. I have the perfect fabric to fussy cut the snowballs. In my search for a possible free pattern earlier, neither of these were found and I appreciate your posting them.

I have seen this design before and love it. I like it especially when it is interpreted with a Celtic feel to it. Thanks for helping me understand.

To MTS and Woody - - - THANK YOU SO MUCH! I know it's not just me I'm speaking for when I say thanks for your time and patience in showing me this. I, too, have really liked the looks of this pattern but just didn't "SEE" it. Now it seems clear as a bell. This board is too awesome with everyone willing to share their time and talents! Thanks again!

Thanks so much for asking this question. I had never seen this pattern before & I love it. Printed off the 'twist around the garden' instructions. Thanks also to everyone who answered the questions and made it easier to understand.
    This board is great!
