My prayers are with all of you. My aunt who lives in southwestern Virginia had her home damaged night before last by a tornado. She and her husband are find so we are so thankful for that blessing. Her home can be repaired and the lost trees can be replaced, but their lives could not! Thank the good Lord for his mercy to them.

I am going to have to put a roof on my house and cut a tree down but other than that I should be okay. Might as well go ahead and relandscape the thing, my yard is ruined from all of the tree limbs falling and the rain.

But there was at one time 6 tornadoes on the ground at the same time all around us. I saw one go over our home before it touched down a mile or two from here. I am so glad the storms are over with!!!

Oh Billy, am so sorry to hear that you were in their path, but sounds like you were pretty lucky. Hope nothing inside your home was damaged. God be with you---my prayers are flowing for you and everyone else who were hit by these horrible storms.

Our hearts go out to all who are in the affected storm areas and hope you and your loved ones are all safe. We've been watching the devastation left by the tornadoes on our newscasts and it's truly frightening.

Prayers and thoughts to all affected by the recent storms. We can put up with the cold and rainy weather here and not be in the path of such destruction as in the south this past week.

My prayers go out to everyone affected by these terrible tornadoes. We lost several people in Greene County, Tennessee, too.

I found photos in my yard and my late Mom's yard that were carried by the winds. I posted them on facebook. Several people in our area found items from Alabama. It's amazing the force of the wind to carry something that far. There are over 1000 photos, quilt, toys, checks, everything found in different states posted on Facebook at: Pictures and Documents found after the April 27, 2011 Tornadoes

So sorry for the families who lost loved ones, homes and everything. Prayers are with them.

.My hubby has a lil less than 100 employees in huntsvile. He called each an everyone of them to make sure they were ok. The ones he couldn't reach by phone he had employees go searching for them. Each of them and their immediate families are safe but the damage in huntsville is so overwhelming that we were going to max out the cc to load up the trailer with generators, food and supplies if any one of them needed him too. They didn't but I knew he would if anyone said yes. That's why I love that man!!

My heart & Prayers go out to those who were impacted my this devastation.
