I think the pattern is Arkansas crossroads....you'll find it on Quilters cache!

This pattern is also in the Aug 2008 magazine American Patchwork and Quilting. They called it Contemporary Crossroads...done in orange where the white is. Also showed another version, Retro Crossroads in reproduction prints, that is a beauty. Made mine like yours only much smaller. It sure makes a gorgeous scrappy quilt. :D

What a lovely pattern, I like all the different versions posted :D

This has given me great inspiration for my mini 16 patch blocks that I have been making inbetween projects, I had no idea what overall pattern to use them in so this has given me great ideas thank you :D

I'm using this same pattern for some "ugly" scraps, and it's turning out great so far. I got the pattern called CHICKLETS from http://www.brandysquiltpatterns.com/ChicletsFree.pdf that I got from a link that Bevanger posted last spring. This shows that there are lots of names for the same pattern!

1) This is an absolutely GORGEOUS picture!
2) May I suggest perhaps a Baptist Fan quilting pattern for it, and a nice, solid color border? There's a lot happening in that quilt color and pattern-wise, a simple border would help keep the scrappiness in line :-)
3) What pattern is it? I'd love to try it. Looks like it's a great stashbuster!

i think that's enough to start. it will be hit or miss from there. if you measure across the white the short way, what measurement do you get with seam allowance? i can cut strips ahead of time if i know that. at least i can put that info in the bin with the pieces for now and refine it when i get enough. thanks for sharing. but if you should find the instructions, i would really appreciate them. thanks again.
