    Very pretty and practical! I love that you call them pocketbooks. I still do too, and my daughters think it's funny.

    Yours are so lovely. The first purse I made for my DGD I made a lot of mistakes and had to reverse sew (rip-out) many times. By the time I got done with the project I called it the couture bag cause there definitely wasn't another like it!

    I am an Aussie and I have to be honest - I have never heard of a bag being called a pocketbook. I don't understand why they are called this. Is it because they have lots of pockets? Why "book". Somebody please enlighten me. By the way - they are gorgeous.

    Love these...You did an awesome job. Especially like the second one with the bottom design and buttons. What pattern is it? Have been looking for one with a removable exterior. I too love making bags bags and more bags of all kinds. Have made bags for years and never tire of them. Never seem to have enough. LOL
