I just love your block, the colors & the way you put it together!! I have to tell you that I made the very same error, when I first put mine together, but I did take it out & fix it. I thought that beings I picked the block, I had better get it right!! You did good.

Love your star, Michelle (actually, I love all your stars, Too). I wouldn't take it out either. Gives it individuality.

Thanks for the warning on the flipping of angles. I can see now how easy that would be to do. Mstandridge...looking good! I love seeing how all these colors are coming together.

If only you knew what a compliment it is to hear you say "Gives it indiividuality" I Love to do the same project yet put my own twist on it. We have a program at the LQS called Staturday Sampler (even though it take 3 sessions to get everyone in the class room) Of the last 4 years I have only done 1 quilt as the pattern called for setting the blocks. I love to do my own thing. BUT I sure would have liked this block to be at least correct! But hey it unique.

Yep, am working on mine and did the same thing. Caught it after I had sewn a few together, and I had to "unsew" them too!

Boy, this block was beating me down!!! Had the hardest time with the inserts, and you can tell...it shows. Maybe I will do it over, not sure yet.
