Welcome! I lived in Alaska for 16 years. About 6 of them in Fairbanks--the rest in Delta Junction. I loved the summers but don't miss the cold and dark winters. My youngest son is still up there working on the pipeline.

You'll love this board. I'm mostly a silent reader but have learned so much from here.

Welcome from Michigan! My dream vacation is to travel the state of Alaska and do as much fishing and sightseeing and quilt shop visiting as possible for an entire summer. I am hoping to treat myself to this trip once I am able to retire.
