Betty ~ Very nice. Did you design the basic quilt pattern yourself, or is it one that you can share with us? My winter project is going to be a sunflower quilt. So far, I have the focus fabric bought and a nice contrasting stripe. I'm looking at your pics and trying to figure out what other fabric requirements I might need. I'm sure I can come up with a sunflower applique to incorporate like you did. I, too, would go with a machine applique method, since I'd like to finish this quilt in THIS lifetime (If I did hand applique, there's no telling what century I'd complete it in). So, if you can refer me to what pattern you used to piece your quilt, I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks, Nita

I love love love it!!! I hadn't considered doing the applique in the sashing, but that is a fabulous idea! You fabric choices are fantastic for this pattern..it really speaks when you look at it. Fantastic job! And soo quickly...you put the rest of us to shame :oops:
