What great instructions, and the photos make it so easy to understand! I'd like to ask the editors of some quilting books to talk to you!

    Judy thank you !!!!

This quilt bring back memories of my mom’s quilt that was placed on my bed on a cold winter night. I always wanted to make one. I have a book but I could not understand it. You make it so simple to understand thank you again, I am book marking it. I want to show my sister she started one years ago. She has a few fan cut out, and gave up. I know she will love this tutorial also.

Judy, your instructions were really good. I just want to add , This was the very first quilt that I made ,queen size, other than an embroidered one. Girls, don"t be afraid to try it, it isn't nearly as hard as you might think. I edged my fan top by sewing on the lace as Judy suggested, plus I placed lace at the quarter circle top also. I made a baby quilt for my first grand daughter and then another for a great-niece. I loved that pattern so much I plan to make another.

Thank you, Judy! I'm trying to do one of these blocks and it's not quite lining up right, but with the pics and explanations on your tutorial, I was able to get the fan closer to the right size by doing those extra seams and I'll be able to make a slight adjustment to get the thing appliqued on right!

AWESOME! I've tried working with this block & never could get the edges curved the way I wanted them! This was a "lightbulb' moment when I saw yours! Thank you so much

Where did you get the fan template? I have been searching with no results.
