they have awesome material and lovley hand made pics from the aboregnies (spelling) my son lived ther for a while in the navy he sent some lovley items enjoy

Those 6 months will fly - after all there are a few holidays in there and that will keep you busy.
I am jealous.......always wanted to go there.

my niece and her husband just got transferred there with their 3 kids. he is in the Army. The pics we've seen so far are beautiful

My DD went to New Zeland for a month and stayed 6 weeks. She backpacked through both islands and had a blast. She did things she would never have done over here and I don't mean bad things--just touristy things.

I went waterfalling in Rota Rua and broke my arm going over the 22 ft fall -- It was a blast!!! I still backpacked and hostelled for another 6 weeks around the islands. Lots and lots of exciting fun !!! A great quilt shop and designer in Rota Rua -- I bought a couple of her designs to give to others.

If you get a chance -- take the scenic Taieri Gorge train From Dunedin in south island on the awesome trestles.

You will love your whole time in NZ
