Hello, and welcome from the show me state.
My Granny was a deaf~mute, she made to most beautiful quilts. Mostly hand applique Butterflies as she just loved them. She also did a lot of Dresden plates. And some bowties. Hers where all fussy cut and done on her treadle which I now own, she sewed on it for 70 years. She passed on in 2002 and I miss her soooo much.
