Yes! Lolly's is THE best! Only one I've ever been to that beats "The Quilt Patch" in Tecumseh, MI.

Here's a link to a backroads shop hop in Indiana - you have to scroll down the page a bit. I went to most of these shops about a year ago, some rather small, but all very nice.

    Hi Everyone,

Thanks again for replying to this thread. I am hoping to meet more members from the Quilting Board as I set up different meet and greets in Indiana.

You never know who lives close by or within driving distance for a meet a greet, shopping and to have lunch together.

You might find a quilting sew buddy in your area.

All of you that are near the Illinois border should plan a retreat at Threads of Time. It's only a few miles into Illinois and you won't even need a passport! All you need to bring is projects, your sewing supplies and machine, plus your clothes and food. Check it out and tell them Alfreda sent you.
http://www.threadsoftimefab.com click on retreat center to see the accomodations and make reservations. Great place to retreat.

the Illinois border is over 300 miles long and Danville is a ways up----------no matter how close to Indiana. But thanks anyway.

I live in Elkhart County, northern IN. I am a half hour from Shipshewana and the shops already mentioned there. There is a great shop here in this county called Calico Point- I recommend it to you all. LOTS of high quality fabric and better prices than you will find at any LQShops. It is in the little town of Southwest. Then there is a nice shop in Wakarusa, Jeanette's Fabrics. I am 45 minutes from Erica's in South Bend and a couple others I can't remember the names of. I can't complain, really! I forgot- there is a lovely shop called Caroline's Cottons in Lagrange Co. south of Shipshewana that has gorgeous Civil War prints and lots of other fabrics, too.

I live in Peru, Indiana. about an hour and a half south of Indy. 15 min. away from logansport and 20 from Wabash. My current fav. lqs is Nancy J's in Wabash. Otherwise there only seems to be wal-mart, joanns, or hobby lobby. I love Lolly's to but it's a bit far to drive lol

Valparaiso is my town. Needle and Thread is our LQS. I love going to Erica's in South Bend and whenever I get a chance I head to Shipshewana.

I really like the Needle and Thread store in Valparaiso! They are the nicest people who work there, I've been there on a shop hop and they also serve great snacks!!
