Ohhh! Very nice! if you are interested in doing more quilts like this you can always Google intarsia patterns. They are originally designed for woodworking but look great as the large medallion appliques. I love the Batiks in this one. the colors are perfect!

Sure am glad my oldest granddaughter does not know about this board - and see this quilt... Oh my - it would fly to the top of her wish list so fast. Beautiful quilt - love the colors and your board choice sets the applique off beautifully. Actually, I really wouldn't mind hanging this in my house....Hmmm may have to check out Intarsia Patterns.
