    dublb: I can't take credit for the design. I saw a photo on Pinterest, and try as I might, I couldn't stop thinking about the quilt. I used flannel (not sure what the original was done in) for the front and back, appliqued the heart on the cream, basted a line down the center, and just started quilting lines that I thought made it look like wood.     Wow, That's great. I love flannel, so soft, & it quilts great! I don't think that I could make it look like wood. You're awesome.

    Congratulations on completing this so quickly! I, too, am good at starting quilts, but not so good with getting them finished! My goal right now is to complete all of my UFOs! (It is very daunting, but I am making some progress!)

    very pretty and well done i am sure your friend will enjoy you are right it nice to finish i have so many i need to get started and finish doing one for a friend now will finish by thursday this week first paid job maggied
