I don't think you need to quilt or even sew if its' not for you. I tried several things, like beading, making jewelry, oil painting, embroidery, making clothes and then I fell into quilting. I found that I enjoyy it because everything I make can be used. I donate a lot, enjoy doing kids quilts and quilts for our wounded warriors. Maybe if you find a reason to do something, you'll enjoy it. Good luck and let the New Year find you a new outlet!
