    I have put together a kit to do this quilt and I think it now will be my next one. I have the navy background she used and a whole box of japanese type fabrics for the cranes. Yours is lovely.

    Thank you for all the nice comments. I love making little pieces like this that go togther quickly, use up scraps and are manageable because they're so small. Sweetana3, if you make your quilt be sure to be generous with the blue fabric on all the "outside" pieces and don't cut them down to 1/4" until you square up the block. I found that there was very little left over to square unless I left quite a bit of blue on those edges. I hope that makes sense!
