    Although this looks simple the blocks go together in an unusual way. Was this tricky? Your colors are beautiful! Perfect for a teenage son.

    Thanks for looking and for the compliments everyone! I am sending this one off to Charisma to quilt (her work is so exquisite!) and will show it off when done.
    Since several people asked, here is where I found the pattern -
    Quilt magazine, Aug/Sept 2011, page 89. It is called Rhythm in Blues; the maker did it up all in blue batiks.
    I can post some simple directions if anyone is interested, in case you can't get to the magazine?
