    Yes...the window trim is oak and new last summer so I didn't want to put any holes in it...

    What is the pattern you used for the valance? Maybe my question should be...what is the block pattern? Love both of your projects, but the valance is lovely... I have so much light in my kitchen, I probably couldn't get the same "stained glass" effect, but I surely like the idea of this and may try it anyway.

    I never thought I could make a valance that didnt show the seam allowances - you have done a great job.
