This is the site for the New York Beauty BOM. It might still be available for free. http://www.sewsweetness.com/2012/02/...ilt-along.html

I have done paper piecing and I'm sure I could do what you are doing. Looks beautiful by the way. II don't want all the circles to be the same so I think if I go with New York Beauty patterns I could change the lay out like you are doing. Thanks for the idea.

Try Googling Karen Combs, Judy Mathieson and New York Beauties.
I have a dim recollection that Benartex makes a foundation fabric for New York Beauties - would make it alot easier.

Wow, I have always wanted to do a New York Beauty, but not got my nerve up yet.
I hope you and your daughter are real brave and experienced as the ones you marked are rated 5 & 6 difficutly level!

Here are some free blocks, to get you started. I think I would use some scraps to test a block or two before buying enough fabric to do an entire quilt, and then find out it drove me nuts to do that much piecing!

Good luck, and be sure to show us what you do!

grammatjr - that link has some fabulous designs! But I don't think I'm ready to tackle them yet...think I'm still at about a 2 or 3 difficulty level or least comfort level.

Wow! "Difficulty 6*********" I've never seen that before! I think it's New York Beauty on a kaleidoscope. Good luck is right. I'd have to quit my job to do that one.

I love the 2 patterns you had a link to and I love to paper piece so maybe I should think about trying something on this order of pattern. Good luck on your search for the perfect pattern.
