    A very creative idea. I don't have any quilts that are worn but, you idea is a great one. I love the blue floral, looks like silk. Both sides are beautiful.

    This is such a great idea - THANKS FOR POSTING IT! Great way to purge those larger scrap pieces and smaller yardage pieces from the stash, it cost nothing, and something BIG that's finished just feels terrific!

    Love it! Once i covered a quilt top where the top fabric was worn,but backing and batting were good.I used leftover bits of velveteen,corduroy,etc to make crazy quilt squares and just sewed them down. I think it is still in good shape somewhere in my boxes,LOL.
