    Ok Mplsgirl - This is looking at the quilt from the kitchen (looking into the great room). You can see the vertical beams and the beams that support the second floor as well here.

    perfect quilt for that lovely house. i've never done one, but have always liked plaid quilts of all patterns. it certainly hangs in the right place :wink:

    I don't see that it is not perfect. Your efforts came out great.
    I have to admit though, you've kind of scared me away from plaid stars!
