    I've never seen anything like this! They are gorgeous! My wheels are already turning as I think something like would be nice in my sewing studio. And you are right it really looks likes stain glass. Great job and great idea.

    Thank you and I used warm and bright. It's the poly version on warm and natural. I thought the poly would work a bit better for this because it is a little stiffer than cotton and would hold the top of the quilt nicer(where it hangs....less droop). I hope I'm explaining myself ok. I'm exhausted and just can't make myself go to bed....lol.

    My mother made valances for her den in the Log Cabin design and it, too, looks like stained glass. I got the idea of making valances for our bedroom in shades of teal, peach and cream and then just plain white cafe curtains for the bottom half. It is so beautiful with the sun coming through! Your curtains are lovely. I believe my mother used muslin for the batting and white for the backing. Edie
