I use Eleanor Burns flying geese rulers. The block is just flying geese, not HSTs.

I saved this thread but without going thru the whole thing again, I don't remember if this was ever answered. But tonight, browsing Connecting Threads, I found it and bought it! It's a downloadable pattern, called "Home Front Celebration" and descr says: "Celebrate this adorable throw quilt with its streamer-like bunting made of half-square-triangles tucked into a modified nine-patch, crisscrossing the quilt. The main attraction is the "Card Trick" or "Dutchman's Puzzle" blocks featured in the center and corners of the design"-has pattern for both.

Thank You I bought the pattern. it looks like a Big Block shuld make a nice quilt for my Mom
