Chris - is the skull appliqued on or is machine embroidered? I'm making a skull quilt for my youngest son - skulls on one side and knights on the other... That skull is just striking - super all around! I agree the spider web quilting was a super way to go!

The skull and all its little pieces are applique if you go to the post for the bigger quilt the pics show some detail better as to what they are. If you need any help with something like this pm me and i can show you other detailed photos.

I like this quilt so much I would love to do one too! Where can I get the pattern or is this your design? My 16 year old foster daughter is really into this style and it would make a nice christmas present.

wich size the mini is very small and the big quilts skull is 4' tall either way id be happy to copy a pattern for you for the applique
