I know exactly how you feel. I have been looking at sewing/embroidery machines forever. My DH and I have discussed and cussed this and did budgets and waffled back and forth. This weekend I went to an Anita Good Design show and bit the bullet-bought on of the machines used at the show at a discount and got more software than I will ever use with it. I am freaked and excited and scared all at the same time.

Good luck with your new machine and enjoy your time with it. A year is a long time not to be able to create!!

Now sew up a a storm!!!

Congratulations and a comment about a "used" machine. I bought a Viking Prism in a cabinet for a great price about 7 years ago, mainly for the Koala cabinet, and I have used that poor machine half to death. When it gets tired, I take her in for a cleanup and manicure and she is so happy she purrs for another year or so, Glad you found something you like at a bargain

Congratulations on your new sewing machine. I don't know how you managed to go a year without sewing - I'd have been in the looney bin by then. Here's to many happy hours with your new machine.
