I got a reply: No problem with any of my machines even my vintage Singers. I don't know what the screw pin is..?

    Hello,

We regret to inform you that our new product # 9580 6-in-1 Stick ‘n Stitch Guide has to be recalled. Our factory found that the Stitch Guide can touch the Screw Pin on some lower priced sewing machines. We found that on more expensive sewing machines there is no problem however, the Clover company takes extreme pride in every tool we manufacture along with strict quality control for each product we ship. It is therefore Clover's responsibility to recall this product for the possible safety hazard when used on some sewing machines.

The 6-in-1 Stick ‘n Stitch Guide will be re-designed to allow clearance on all sewing machines. Our Research and Development Department will be working with all manufacturers of sewing machines to avoid having this issue come up in the future. We will inform your buyers as soon as a new 6-in-1 Stick ‘n Stitch Guide is updated and available. Again we apologize for this inconvenience.

I got this yesterday. It is the best seam guide I've used. No more tape, moleskin, strips, screw on, magnetic, or other methods. I can use the 1/4" foot with guide too, it just extends the guide. I love this little thing.
Looked on the site you posted, but trying to figure out what you are thinking the best seam guide is??? You never mentioned which one you were looking at.

I went to that address but was told that the page was not available. I'm disappointed.

Tks, Bella. 'twould be nice if peeps read the entire thread. I got mine and love it. It says it might not work for older machines. Not an issue on my Janome 6600.
