    Great gift. Great son and DH must have had something to do with raising son, so he is Ok if a typical clueless man.

    I'm glad your son got what you wanted!! Maybe he had help from your DH or he was able somehow to see what you had booked marked on your computer.

    It does reduce one to tears when they have really LISTENED to what is important to you. My husband gives me money so I found a wonderful fabric shop with a great after-Christmas sale. He went with me and is so very patient while I look. Now I am working on new projects.

    Great gifts from your son, especially the big ruler.

    And at least your husband did pay attention when he heard you say you liked the ceramic wok. Many husbands would not have so be blessed that he really tried!

    I think your son is tuned in to what makes you happy. I've gotten appliances, when I've asked for them in the past, but now, we don't give each other presents, but spend out limited income on our DGD.
