What a charming quilt! Your hand quilting looks great...please don't take it out. This quilt deserves hand quilting, it really does!

WOW! That brings back memories. I hand quilted one of these it to see if I could. Since I used dark blue thread and a dark backing, it looks great when viewing it from a seeding car. It is one of the first quilts I actually finished. I used the pillow panel to make a reverse applique sweatshirt it was my favorite until it wore out.

That is so cute. Might have been basting threads?

I agree! Finish the handquilting! You've made a great start! And I love the quilt; the angels ARE adorable!

Your hand stitching is great . You just did not bury your threads. If I could hand quilt that good I would do more. Lovely quilt.

That is adorable and deserves to be finished. The quilting looks great from here.

    Cool oh the memories...

I recognize the patterns, they are from Little Quilts...I still have all of mine. I always meant to do some, I recognize the fabric. At one time or another I have had all of them. I still have yards of the black with gold stars in my stash. I liked it so much I bought five yards of that and it's sister which is black with silver stars...Maybe I should dig out the patterns and try one, even though I don't do much with hand quilting any more.
