    It turned out beautifully. now the dominant colors to me are the dark blue and white; then the yellow. So no worries. It's a great quilt. and it will grow on you!

    I love it - the quilting will also tone it down some although I don't think it needs toning down

    Thanks again, everyone. I appreciate all your comments.

    Audrey, you asked what I would have done differently, knowing what I know now. I probably would have taken out the last two yellows. I should have realized that there really is't a "dark yellow," as it turns into orange or even a gold, which I didn't want. I wanted yellow. I just wanted a softer yellow. But it is a keeper and I don't regret making it. I learned a lot, which I do on every quilt.
