Thanks for sharing! It's very pretty. I love your quilting on it. I have started this quilt (well the embroidery part anyway) in browns. I hope you don't mind if I mimic some of your quilting...

Oh dear! I sure hubby is no the mend now.

Your quilt is awesome! I have seen this before, but it never seems to stop amazing me at how much work is in it and you have done a really nice job on the quilting too.

Thank you so much for that tip. I did post some more pictures that I took with my iPhone, and they are in the right position. Did you see them.....after the first post? I just don't like taking them with my phone......can't see what I'm doing with it in the sunlight.

No, I don't mind at all. I'm not very good at free hand, but getting better. I tried to sort of go with a theme in each section....don't know if you can see that or not. In the "thru the woods"section, I tried to do just to bare trees with no leaves, etc. This was on my frame for 4 months before I got it off, because of all the health situations occurring one right after another. I was surprised that it was smooth on the back as I unrolled it. But, it was OK.

Everything you're going through just shows how strong a woman you are. Your quilt is stunning. I also visit the QB to keep my sanity! All the emotions get put into check and we sometimes need that on a daily basis.

Beautiful quilt. You did a fantastic job. Aren't you glad you never gave up?? Hope your husband is on the road to recovery and is healing quickly. I totally agree about this QB and sewing-it really helps with the stress. I have this pattern also-you have inspired me to pull it out and start on it but I have a few ufo's to finish up first. Thanks for sharing.

Tessagin, thank you so much for encouragement. I've been told that before, many times, before this. We lost both of our sons (our only children) a little over two years apart, at ages 29 & 37. With no family to help me, I've struggled with the health issues. But, as your said, the QB has relieved my stress on a daily basis. If you're a quilter, nothing like QB can relieve your stress! And, I'm so glad I kept on trying to get this quilt done in little snatches of time.
