    Beautiful fabrics all of the color and texture. You made an absolutely wonderful quilt and I love the embroidery you did it adds so much and clarify's the story of the quilt. what a treasure for her.

    What an incredible masterpiece! There is an embroidery of a child with a car and a pole. My peers went to Africa 30 years ago and brought back three examples of those toys the children had created from junk. They were from simple to complex. The wheels actually turned using the pole!!!!! The children made their toy cars that way so they wouldn't have to kneel on the rough ground - hurt their knees. That embroidery reminded me of those incredible creations. What a treasure - I understand her tears of happiness. Safe trip to Turkey.
