    Oh, no, barny...I have a longarm and used it! I hate hand work!!! If I tried to hand quilt this quilt, she may have gotten it for her 25th anniversary!!!

    Ally, I look at the web sites of quilters I like, like Angela Walters and Lisa Calle, I doodle (lots of that), I use a piece of plastic on top of the quilt to try out designs with a dry erase marker, and sometimes the quilts talk to me and tell me what they want - weird, I know, but it works for me!!

    Thank you all! Her favorite colors are pink and black, so that drove my color choices for her quilt. I am so very happy that she loves it and understands the work that went into creating it, so she will take care of it.
