That's gorgeous. I especially like how the central ring is pieced in a single fabric; gives the eye a place to rest and the color just makes the whole skirt sing. Great job!

I really like this it's so festive. My guild did a spiral table topper using this same ruler. I would love to make this but at $30 for the ruler I will wait until I figure a way to make it using something else, or one of the girls from my guild lends me their 10 degree (maybe it's the 9) ruler.

I am so going to make this. I would like to try putting a strip of gold lame' in there, and then make a 3 or 4 inch gold lame' ruffle all around the edge instead of the binding. I can picture this in my head. I think the gold lame' will set it off.

Your tree skirt is really nice. Thanks for the link to the tutorial. Not that I "need" another tree skirt, but it could be a future project after seeing yours Merry Christmas
