I think you are perfect in design and color way. My brother would grab this one and run if I made it. He is a southwest design nut!

    Dina-
I LOVE your very southwest quilt and although I have the book, the colors were darker and I didn't like it as much as
I like yours. Now I will re-evaluate whether or not to make the Navajo quilt. Thanks.

Very much Southwest. Love the colors. They remind me of Nevada! Luann

You might try this free Bargello pattern. There is also a video with it. It is called Serenity Bargello, in case the link doesn't take you there and you need to google it. I can't recall, but I think it takes ten or 12 fabrics? The one I am making has 10 fabrics, which was really hard for me. I had to leave out several fabrics I really wanted to include. But, decisions are supposed to be hard, right?

Anyway, you might check out this pattern and all you have to do is ask a question on this board if you need help with any of it. I got tons of help on my first Bagello...

Yes, it does look Southwest. Both in design, and colors. Love the turquoise!

The fabrics and colors definitely look Southwest to me. Nice start, it should be a beautiful quilt. Love the kitty in the chair, looks like one of our first cats, Chewbacca (well, my kids were little and had just seen Star Wars) Chewy for short. Beautiful quilt and beautiful cat.

It definitely looks Southwest, from the colors to the shapes. It will be beautiful when you get it done.
