    you really have a prize winner here. You did an amazing job and it is a beautiful quilt. It looks like it was a challenge worth doing. I have not yet attempted curves but it's on my "to do list" for 2016 goals.

    HOLY WOW WOW love it.... I have been wondering about the templates by Judy Niemeyer and it looks like you found them to be quite useful....

    Maureen NJ - Finished size is 104" x 92" (I probably should have made one more vertical row). There is still fabric left over! I think the kit is so generous with background fabric because of Gail's optional method of appliqueing the arcs to background squares and rectangles. Cutting all those 15-1/2" squares, especially, would use a lot more fabric than traditional piecing with templates.

    btiny36 - Absolutely, I do recommend Judy's CG template set.

    One more thing. The internet is full of recommendations to bind a DWR with single-layer binding. I didn't see any of this until my doubled binding was already sewn on. Single-layer would have been a lot easier to finish at the Vs.
