What are the dimensions of the quilt? The colors, sashing and borders have a very nice balance to them! I love it!

Very, Very nice. The more I see the blocks, the more I like their being separated by black.

I am happy for you that you are feeling better and can spend more time doing things you want to do. The product of your effort is beautiful and I know it will be special to your daughter. I also would like to see it bigger!

Thanks for all your nice comments. I wish the pictures were better. I am adding a couple more to show some of the quilting. The quilt is 98x98 .I stippled the big block with the flower after outlining the flower and leaves. The borders are filled with feathers and the small blocks have a flower. It's hard to tell but I used a silvery gray for the feathers and lavender trilobal thread for the rest. I used a pink in the bobbin to match the back.

Great quilt. All my quilts seem to have their own time frame from beginning to end, case in point, the quilt my DH wanted me to make, he picked out 2 of the fabrics and unbelievably I had the third in my stash, I didn't need that blouse anyway. I intended it to be finished for our 25th wedding anniversary, but didn't finish it for 5 years and the same thing happened when making a log cabin quilt for my best friend in honor of her building her first log cabin home, that took about 5 years in "construction, due to building delays". That one had a slightly better excuse as I made the log cabin and mountain scene for the center of the quilt and it took me a while to figure out what I had done wrong as I didn't like it, but eventually came up with a solution and she loves the quilt.
