Please share if you can where this cutie shelving unit came from, I'm learning to love FQ's but need a space that I can see them all at a glance instead of digging. If possible could you send this information to this board and to my email address [email protected]. I know this will help myself as well as others with a small sewing room. Thank you so so much

Serious sewing space you have! You are a very fortunate lady. A pleasure to look at how all is set up. Enjoy!

I got the cubbies at Pottery Barn years ago but I would look for inexpensive CD storage. My DH put small cup hooks into the top of the unit. The wall hanging has a fabric sleeve for a small wood strip (screen molding maybe?) that has the eyelets that fit over the cup hooks. I just added button holes in the sleeve for the eyelets to pop through.

My remaining FQs are in ribbon boxes as posted on a previous thread. Just click on my profile for latest posted threads and search for FQ storage.

I LOVE your room...but truth be told, I was hoping for a shot of the floor! What is your opinion of the vinyl planks? Do they look like wood or vinyl...I've been thinking that's the solution for us but want to see it in "action."

I'm going to be returning to this post as I set up MY new sewing room -- it is very close to the same size.
Like the idea of removing closet doors -- I have bifold doors, too, and had already thought about removing them.
    And pegboard for tools --hmm...
The first step is getting rid of the carpet and putting down a smooth floor. That and fresh paint.
