I assembled the whole flimsy including border and corner triangles. So I've already quilted the "first" border. Now I've completed the first row. They're all in the album link above.
I bought the book but I did not buy the CD so this was all "eye balled" with a ruler.
Where I could applique I did. I used primarily Charm squares so my assemble method hinged on whether I had enough material. About 1/3 of them were done that way.

I primarily used Charm squares ( Friends exchanges) so when I had a pattern that worked or I could change it to applique rather than piecing, I did. About 1/3 of the squares are done that way.

Beautiful. I'll have to go to your album to check the rest of it out. I got 95% done in 2012....there was a sew along on this board. Had troubles with a few blocks, got distracted on other projects and put it away. I see beautiful work of several members and need to "get it done".....I plan on hand quilting, too. Yours is inspirational.

You will have a lovely quilt when finished. Your work is so smooth and even that each block will be beautiful.
