It's so exciting and interesting to hear the different skills everyone is working to develop. One of the aspects I love most about quilting, and all the fiber arts, are the many, many things there are to learn. It is so important to our mental health to keep growing and learning, and being energized mentally influences our physical health. So much more fun to spend money on our craft than medical stuff as much as we possibly can! Love this board, information, motivation, encouragement, new skills-one stop shopping

I've recently learned paper piecing and now I've taken up hand embroidery after 30 years away from it! Love both.

Pretty pillow... Unfortunately, this is a crazy time of year for me having two retail stores in a summer location. I plan to work on improving my paper-piecing this summer but I don't expect to have much time for any new projects until fall.

I'm new to this board, I see so many things that I have in common with all of you! I also have slacked off with being "comfortable" with how I do things. I have a great machine I've had for years and just have not utilized all that I can do. Hopefully I will get inspired by this board to dive in a try new things. Yep, my seam ripper is my friend, lol.. BTW your pillow is beautiful!
