Very cute. I keep looking at a pattern with a sleeping cat (paper piecing pattern) but haven't stepped up yet to buy it/try it. Maybe after I finish the one I am working on now.
Your additions look like they were meant to be there all along. I love your fabric choices; it is amazing the attitude you can see on each cat's face even without any facial features!
