Update: the blocks that were sewn in upside down are now fixed. I feel so much better!
    Thanks for all the comments!

Upside down? I thought you meant where the two bottom corner blocks should be reversed. Is that what you mean? Wondered why you would leave it when it could be switched in 10 minutes or less. Its a very pretty quilt.

If you follow the chain created by the black squares, you will see that the last block in two of the chains is missing. The quilt was constructed with a very narrow strip block that contained the black square that should have completed the chain. It was not a matter of simply moving the black square, had to rip out the whole narrow strip block on both sides and switch them to the other side. Took me about half an hour to fix. And I might reverse the bottom two blocks like you mention. I think it would look better that way.

Oh my gosh, I didn't see that at all! I went back and searched to see what you meant. I was just talking about switching out one brown center for one black one, so they are on opposite sides of the quilt. Now I've gone and made more work for you. I've accidentally switched colors like that myself and that's what I meant is an easy fix. Sorry! You don't need to change the whole block, just do the frog stitch around the center cats, then switch and re-sew them. At least you saw it before it was quilted. I still think its a very pretty quilt. I hope you will post a pix when its all done.

Very nice quilt. I am always looking for ways to use a theme and yours is a good one. Thanks for sharing.

Looks fantastic! Remember, there are no mistakes in quilts...just design changes.

No apology necessary! Glad you brought it to my attention before it was quilted! I will post when it is fixed and quilted. Having a hard time deciding how to quilt it. I am a beginner when it comes to free motion! Any suggestions?
