I have a friend that sells Tupperware and they have a new vegetable keeper that really works well. You might ask someone who sells Tupperware if you can use one for a couple of weeks, or buy one and return it if you don't like it. I have two different sizes and I really like them.

I saw an article by Martha Stewart that she recommended wrapping Lettuce, Cabbage, most any Green Veggies in Alum. Foil. It works great!
We buy the individual heads of Lettuce at Wal-Mart--Green Leafy Lettuce for only $1.00 I have used it like 3 weeks later, and it was still crisp and good.
Hope you try it and like it!

Martha Stewart wrote in a magazine to wrap lettuce, ect. alum. foil. Works great! My lettuce keeps for 3 or so weeks.
Good luck!
