I really like your cheddar background. It was such an important color for antique quilts and I am so glad to see it come back into quilting fashion. You have combined it so beautifully with the contemporary pattern. So pretty.

Oh, so pretty! I like a color for the background--just don't like quilts that are too white!

I think that is a type of "1,000 pyramids", designed to use even the smallest of scraps. I have found even pieced triangles(tiny as they were) on antique quilts.

I only have one cat, Mr. Peach. He is sure he owns this home and all that is in it. Yes, he leave hair all around and I sweep everyday because of him. I am not allergic and always let everyone know I am owned by cat that lives inside. A lot of quilters have pets and I am so sorry you can't be one of those.

Wow, that's a lot of little bitty triangles. Well done, it's an amazing quilt!

Your quilt is wonderful and I echo everyone who loved your choice of background color.

Could you give us the name of the pattern and the shop, please? Thank you

Oops, just went back and read what you wrote about the quilt and there is the name of the shop. I will do a search for the pattern.
