Amazing what a deadline can do for power-quilting! Cute quilt, nicely done, cheating or not!

I find I work better under pressure because it makes me have a better focus, although it sometimes makes me nervous. Last week I was still polishing up a baby quilt several hours before the shower! It doesn't help that I have perfectionist tendencies because I almost always find something I messed up on. Great work!

I love this quilt!! The recipient will never see one of your mistakes. I don't even see them!! We are often our own worst critics.

[QUOTE=tranum;7987470]You did good ! I try to have a boy and girl quilt on hand.
Your story reminds me of my friend’s high school granddaughter who asked my friend (her grandmother) if she would make a crochet Afghan for a school fundraiser. Of course my dear, when do you need it ? Her answer: Tomorrow Night !!!!!!! [/QUOTE

But of course. Aren't quilts, afghans, and science fair projects all the same when it comes to a teenager's perception of time-on-task needed?

Jane---Mom to the rescue, once again! The quilt sure is cute. Bet you're proud of your magic wand.

I've always wondered if my kids would "come to the rescue" for me.......but, alas, I am too bashful to ask.....
