    I've done something like this, only as a lap quilt! It was fun to graph out the size needed for a spot and then I simply did improve to get the correct size. Trimming a bit of scrap material was fine with me because it was so much fun to create each block! Your quilt is beautiful. :-)

    WOW! Very nice. I used the same technique when I made T-shirt quilts, instead of putting all the patches in the same row or column.

    Wow. What an amazing and ambitious project. This will make a great class project for a HS math class.

    I don't know how much learning would be gathered from this. All you have to do is cut the four sizes of squares and then fit them into the box, like HiQ HEXED. But this is easier because the sizes are all related.
