    Picking out the fabric and the pattern. Anything to do with finishing is hard for me.

    I am a quilt topper, once that is done, it can sit there. I'm on to the next quilt top.

    I enjoy each step but like Wesing posted, I love making the blocks...it’s so exciting to put them up on my design wall and watch the quilt grow.

    My favorite part is the piecing, too. Sandwiching can be a drag, but then comes the quilting which is fun although it takes me quite a while since I use my DSM and mostly the walking foot. Sometimes piecing a back can feel like making another, less fun quilt all over again. Cleaning up after finishing a quilt is hard for me. It takes quite a while to put leftover fabric away and mix it back into the stash for other projects. I do love having an empty project box, though they don't stay empty for long. I always have to take a day or two break from quilting after I've finished a big project. Guess I need to recharge.

    I'd have to say piecing the blocks. My absolute least fav is sandwiching. I wish I could skip that step altogether haha
