I would like to try this. I have never done a swap before, so tell me what to do next.

Next step is to go through youyr stash and see what you have that is already in fat quarter size (18 x 20/22) or you can cut up into fat quarters. You decide how many you want to exchange and proceed to wash and iron your fat quarters. Contact me when you are ready to mail them and I'll give you my snail mail address. You then mail me the fat quarters and I mail you back the number of fat quarters that you send me. The only thing that might take a while is that I might not have the number of fat quarters in house that you requested so you'll have to wait shortly. You have to send return postage but not packaging as I take care of that.

Sounds good. Count me in. When do you want us to mail them? I live in New York and it takes awhile to get anything from across the country. Anywhere from 7 to 10 days sometimes.
Also, do you want us to send stamps in the envelope, or will you take a check? I don't like sending cash in the mail.

You mail the fat quarters as soon as you are ready. All you do is PM me for my snail mail address and I send it to you. As for the postage ... you can send cash, stamps, or a check .. makes no never mind to me which one you choose.

Sent my package out this morning. Post office said you should get it Wednesday. Wow. I told the lady what we were doing and she liked the idea. The priority mail envelope can hold up to 70 pounds and costs $4.95. She said parcel post is about ten cents cheaper but takes a lot longer. Otherwise, first class might be okay too, if you only have a couple of FQ's. It has to be only up to 13 ounces though. Hopefully that helps a few people.

Due to circumstances beyond my control I have to cancel this Swap. If you are already a member I sent you a PM about it that I wish you would read. I apologize for the inconvenience.
