    I had pointy ones also that looked like pyramids and did more research on how to do mitered corners. I found that I was not starting the stitching all the way at the top after the fold down of the fabric. Once I stitched at the very top, IT WORKED. I am not sure if this makes any sense or not. Look for a tutorial that explains and you can see exactly how the mitered corner is created. If I can do it, anyone can. It just took me 3 times of starting over to figure it out.

    No, I did not glue the binding down. On the front I just sewed without pinning until I got to the corners. I have read about the glue and will probably try it with my next quilt. This is an Atkinson Design and was in a packet by itself at the LQS. There were great instructions so it was easy to follow.
