    The block is the New Jersey block from Carol Doak's 50 Fabulous Paper-Pieced Stars.

    so nice! you must have iorned away. I love the crisp sharp corners. I have a sandal fetish, I have quite a few but only a couple close toed shoes so this bloch speaks to me. I have seen alot of sandal fabric, but you make it look good!

    The sewing looks perfect but it definitely has to do with the colors.
    Great choices!
    Edited to add: I have that book but have not used it. PP is something I need to try. Your fabric choices make the block ZING.
